Client Communication: Texting

Now more than ever, client communication is essential. However, industry regulations can complicate what tools we can use.

I’m pleased to inform you that I am now able to send text messages compliantly. From your perspective, you will send and receive text messages as you normally do.

In order for us to text, I will need you to complete the simple steps below.

  1. You will receive a text from Cindy Cavener-Sumner with Cavener Wealth Management via our new texting number 817-326-6390, which is the same as the office phone number.
  2. Reply to that text with the word “accept.” Do not include any spaces, dashes or characters.
  3. Save this number as my new texting number and you can also call this number to get a hold of me.

If you do not receive a text from us and would like to communicate via text, please complete the following.

  1. Send a text to our new texting number 817-326-6390 with just the keyword accept – no spaces, or dashes or other characters.
  2. Open the next text message; an auto-reply text with instructions for how to opt out.
  3. Save this number as my new texting number and you can also call this number to get a hold of me.
